Rumors From Drivers To Commuters!

Yes, there is a wise rumor that has hit me today that bus drivers are telling commuters that 'Cashless Buses' or otherwise known as 'Prepay Buses' are coming to Mount Druitt. Well, I knew this before as I was told about it coming in about 2-3 months ago.

I think what has pushed this is to go forward, is the anti-social behavior that has occurred over recent times. What has been mislead commuters by what the bus drivers are saying  is that commuters will have to go to Mount Druitt only to pick up and purchase their tickets. No, this would be extremely unfair to the elderly commuters, to the young and also the the average working Mount Druitt commuting person.

We will lobby to ensure that if there is 'Prepay Buses' or 'Cashless Buses' - there are plenty of tick vendors available in all suburbs - at three to four shops in small shopping centers and at least one in every three shops in large shopping centers. Ample sign-age available on buses and outside shopping centers and or shops ensuring everyone knows how to purchase: pensioner excursion tickets, daily (single and return), all multi tickets, weekly monthly and yearly tickets.
