Pay Exact Fare Only - Instead Of Being Overcharged by Bus Drivers!

It has occurred to a member of my family that was overcharged by 1 section, charging for 3sections - being  $3.50 when the fare should have been for 2 sections $2.10.  I get off at the same bus stop and I know it is 2 sections.

The issue is bus drivers need to enter bus stop numbers not sections on their ticket and then the right fare will be charged. A message for bus drivers - how many other people get overcharged by bus drivers. Do they know the right sections?

So, here is a tip for commuters that have been blown by overcharged fare(s) by bus drivers:, incorrectly. Have the correct fare in your hand, for example $2.10 and just say '$2.10' pay your fare and then enter inside the bus. The bus driver should not be in a position to overcharge you then and question the fare - he /she drives on!

That means don't mention your destination just pay the exact fare! See below:

By the way the above idea was present to be  by a local bus driver - isn't that great! Bus drivers solving problems!
