Improved Trains Services by Reducing Number of Local Council's - Blacktown Commuter

David  from Blacktown id a straight forward man straight away say, he would rather Transport for New South Wales be  'proactive' then ' reactive', with City Rail trains.

Roads have 3- times the amount of car on them for over the last 30-40 years and we seem to be expanding roads , whilst they are getting clogged up. He has been contemplating moving out to the country side, due to  public transport being in a mess.

For example, David talks about the dominance of many Councils in Sydney City and the Greater Western  Sydney  - where there is approximately 43 local councils running local government and in Brisbane there is only one Brisbane City Council. Furthermore, he states that Brisbane City Council  as one Council is doing  a better job then the 43 Local Government areas within Sydney and  by doing this, Brisbane cut middle management, leaving less costs to spending and more savings towards public transport costs and other community amenities.

David also  claims where Councillors / Councillors officers that go overseas on Council's expense, these costs should be approved and these funds  can be allocated for more reliable train services and also new trains and improved infrastructure.

Then he stunned  myself by asking of my thoughts of public transport. I  replied by saying that from what I have heard  people say, we do require more train services out west, dual carriage way from St Marys to Emu Plains. and the extension of the Northwest Rail Link to St Marys.
